Going to a training camp alone: how to find a group
Going to a training camp alone is expensive and often lonely. Yet many groups still have a free bed because someone dropped out. With a little preparation you'll find people who ride or run at your pace.
Where spots are free
On Freibett, groups list their free spots with dates, sport and level. Search for your region and your dates. The results show how many nights match yours.

Writing a good wanted ad
If nothing fits, post a wanted ad yourself. Hosts with a free spot see it and get in touch. Include:
- Your dates, and whether you're a few days flexible.
- Your sport and level, for example pace or weekly volume.
- What you're looking for: a bed, a room of your own or just a group to join.
- A few lines about yourself. That builds trust.

Get notified
Save your search. As soon as someone lists a spot that matches your region and dates, we'll email you. No need to check every day.
Before you say yes
- Have a quick call or video chat. After ten minutes you usually know whether it fits.
- Ask about the planned sessions, the group size and whether there are rest days.
- Ask to see the booking and write down the costs beforehand.
- Don't pay in advance to people you don't know. More under Sharing safely.
